Here Comes the Bride

Over Memorial Day Weekend, we attended  the wedding of my second cousin.  It was outside at the Silo Center here in Tulsa.  The weather was absolutely perfect for an outdoor wedding.  We had such a great time, and I wanted to share a couple of pics that I took.  What a beautiful bride!!!

The Hills Are Alive...........

Tonight was a special night for Reiley.  It was her last singing recital of the year.  I am still amazed that a little girl who seems so quiet can stand in front of a group of strangers and belt it out.  She definitely takes after her dad!  We are so very proud of her.  The biggest surprise of the night was when her kindergarden teacher came to watch.  We are so blessed to have a teacher who is so caring.  She has made such a tremendous impact on Reiley this year.   What a special memory that will always be for her.

My Little Cowgirl

It's hard to believe that my little girl will be finishing kindergarden in a week.  It was a busy year running to cheerleading and voice lessons, but she loved them both.  Reiley just ended her year of cheerleading with a western dance.  Her squad performed for the Tulsa Talons.  I know I am biased, but she had to be one of the cutest Cowgirls there!  Yee Haw!!!!!

Sharp Dressed Man

My sweet Ryker is starting to exercise more independence.  We were taking a trip to our all time favorite store yesterday, Target, and he told me he wanted to get dressed all by himself.  He came downstairs and said, "I'm all ready to go!"  This was his lovely attire for our trip.  I did finally convince him to shed the tie, but the house shoes were a must!

Spoiled?? Who Me???

Rhett is adding new words to his vocabulary daily.  It is so fun to see what he might say next.  Today he puckered his lips up.  After I leaned down to kiss him, he pointed at me and said, "I tiss you!"   Ahhhhhhhh.......just melted my heart!

In Bloom

The Azaleas finally bloomed!! I knew if I didn't snap a picture quick, the blooms would be gone!  I actually was able to get a picture of all three kids sitting still for once!!! Amazing!!!
I finally did it!  I bit the bullet and bought my first SLR camera.  Ok.....so maybe by looking at my pictures, it looks like a point and shoot, but hopefully I will get there!  I have not always been a good "camera man!"  When an important moment is taking place, I have always been the one WITHOUT my camera!  Hopefully that will all change now.  I have missed out on so many great opportunities so I plan to make up for it now.  So.....I find myself sitting at my computer doing something that is so foreign to me......BLOGGING!!!   "What in the world is blogging?" I said not long ago.  I am hoping to capture those special moments, the ones that are so great at the time and then get pushed far behind the ones that seem to take their place.  I want to remember every little funny detail of our day to day lives.  So.....here goes my attempt at relishing in the every day, day ins and day outs of our ordinary but in my point of view, very extraordinary lives!!
